About The Artists

Liz Bunn

Elizabeth S. Bunn Braunsdorf, SRA B134

I began lampworking in early 2008 and it was love at first melt. I previously worked with stained glass and glass bead jewelry. I work hard to hone my skills and have taken workshops with Corina Tettinger, Michael Barley, Kim Fields and other masters of the craft. I enjoy making whimsical designs, cats, florals, hearts, organics and love to work with silver and silver glass. I am happily remarried with 4 kids and 2 kitties.

I’ve been playing with beads since 2001.  Shortly after becoming an “empty-nester”, life as a lampwork artist began in 2006.  I like big beads and tend to spend most of my time making focals.  Silver glass and “boro boro” frit are some of my favorites.  I have two faithful muses, Scruffy and Sophie, who know when I head toward the studio it is time to make beads!

My hot glass experience began with fusing in 2005 and evolved to lampworking in 2007. I continue to enjoy both art forms and combine it with my seed beading and jewelry design. I was a quilter in a previous life and used to love to sit in my quilting room and gaze at all the beautiful fabric colors and patterns. I have taken that love with me to my new hot glass gig. I like to make unique, one of a kind beads.

Teresa Morgan

Teresa Morgan, SRA M98

Hot glass has always fascinated me so I became a beadmaker in 2006. I tend to make small bright beads and fritted beads that can be incorporated with the beads sold in local shops.  I enjoy bead and wire magazines and create beads that are compatible with the current trends.
